People forget things. Some easier than others. Be it the subject of matter or if the person seems to be very forgetful.
My definition of forgetting is not being able to remember. But when you want to forget something on purpose, you can never do that because there is some sort of reason as to why that memory, thought, or person is attached to you.
Think of it as a scenario with ghosts. Dead but not completely gone. And they’re there to haunt you for God only knows how long. Of course you want to get rid of the ghosts but that can’t be done too easily.
A different case that can easily be misconceived for forgetting is acceptance. You still remember the subject of matter but it doesn’t bother you. At all. Kinda like the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland. There are ghosts in there & it doesn’t bother you at all (albeit the ghosts aren’t real though). But then again, those “ghosts” are no longer real to you so it doesn’t bother you.
I’m the type who has a hard time living because I’m haunted by these ghosts & it drives me mad that to no avail, I can never get rid of them. But then again, I’m probably making it seem a lot harder than this really is. For example, I live in a nice home but it is haunted with ghosts but I don’t want to move out.
I thought it was broken because it wouldn’t turn on even when plugged in. I guess it was just my chord that wasn’t working. But I had to reset everything ‘cause it shut down unexpectedly last night. Glad I got all that taken care of.
